About the Role

Our client, a leading global provider in the thin film coatings industry, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer. This role involves working on innovative projects related to PVD-coating on glass. The client is renowned for its cutting-edge technology and complex products that serve industries such as energy-efficient glass, thin film displays, and solar panels.

Job Responsibilities

• You are responsible for organizing and coordinating multiple simultaneous projects worldwide. You closely follow these projects in terms of technical scope, budget, timing, safety, quality, information, hygiene, and environment.
• You develop independent project proposals and prepare detailed project designs with definitive specifications, project steps, timing, costs, and benefits, ... in the specifications.
• You provide all involved technical and commercial information to those involved so that the production can be optimally prepared and planned. You provide the necessary support at start-up.
• Within the company, you are in contact with the Sales, Design, Purchase, R&D, and operation departments.
• You report to the Project Manager.

Your Profile

Qualifications

• Master Electromechanics or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• You can work dynamically and independently.
• You are a team player.
• You have fluent knowledge of English and/or Dutch.
• You have good knowledge of MS Office. Software knowledge of technical programs is an advantage.
• You are strong in planning, organizing, and working on a project basis.
• You are prepared to make short or long trips abroad (> 30% of your time).
